| Ecology, Faith & Action: Empowering the Church General Theological Seminary, 175 Ninth Ave., New York, NY 10011 (212-243-5150: ask for Center for Christian Spirituality) Intensive One-week course:
This course will explore the ecological crisis from the perspective of Christian faith and practice and prepare church leaders to preach, teach, and provide pastoral care in an environmental context. The course will include presentations, discussions and prayer exercises and will address ways churches can radically reduce pollution and advocate for sound policies. The goal will be to empower individuals and faith communities with knowledge and hope, so that church leaders can contribute, with heart, mind, and strength, to the healing of God’s creation.
